Church of the Holy Sepulchre

This church sits upon the site of both Golgotha and the tomb where Jesus was buried. Below are shrines within the church that were built above the place of the Lord's empty tomb (left) and the place where Jesus was buried (right).

The most striking church for Fr. Scott - the Church of All Nations in the Garden of Gesthemane. The rock in front of the altar is where the Lord prayed in the Garden before He was arrested! The olive tree on the right is a 2000+ year old tree that was said to have 'witnessed' the Lord praying.
