We’ll Rise Higher With Hearts Made Low

I believe in Your mercy, like oceans it flows
For all who are thirsty, for all our sorrows
I believe we’ll rise higher with hearts made low
And that Your heart is a fire when it’s dark and it’s cold

Friends, thank you for joining us for this first month in the new world of Freshly Brewed Catholic Media. We wanted to take a few minutes to share some of our favorite bits of inspiration from this past month.

First, check out the new song (above) released by the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal this week. We can't get enough of the beautiful lyrics and how much it speaks to this month's theme.

Kristin Wilkinson majorly inspired us on the podcast last week, and Mary Kate had such beautiful reflections for us on Valentine's Day. (MK's blog post was also the most popular Freshly Brewed content this past month!) Over on Instagram, we loved the inspiration from St. Clement and St. Bakhita on her feast day.

Before the month is done, we think it'd be worth looking back for a few minutes on the joy experienced at Frassati Fest over Super Bowl weekend. See the photos, hear from the Emcees, and get a taste of the inspiration Nic and Lauren shared with us on the Freshly Brewed podcast.

As we conclude this month, be assured of our prayers for you as we begin this Lenten season. We are so excited to share with you, beginning tomorrow, many new reflections on a new theme that will carry us through these 40 days.
